Great news - the Hospice has expanded its chain of high street charity shops with the acquisition of a new site on Borehamwood high street. It is planned for the shop to open to the public in early May.
The new addition means we will now have eight high street shops across South West Herts.
The Hospice’s Retail Director, Steve Rose said ‘I am delighted to acquire a prominent site on Borehamwood’s busy main shopping street. The store having previously been an HSBC bank has a bigger sales area than our hugely successful South Oxhey shop and gives us the opportunity to sell furniture as well as all other high quality donated goods.
Not only will this help us to increase much needed income, but it will also help to raise awareness in Borehamwood about the work of the Hospice.
We need to find a team of volunteers and are looking to recruit a team of paid staff’.
If you would like to donate new or nearly new items to the Borehamwood store, or any of our other shops, please contact Steve Rose on 01923 330330.
